INTRUCTIONS TO AUTHOURS

The Global Journal of Clinical and Public Health Research (GJCPHR) welcomes original research, review articles, case reports, and short communications in the fields of clinical and public health research. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below:

Scope of the Journal

The Global Journal of Clinical and Public Health Research (GJCPHR) welcomes submissions of:

  • Original Research Articles (clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, epidemiology, health systems, and public health).
  • Review Articles (narrative or systematic reviews, meta-analyses).
  • Case Reports (rare, unusual, or instructive clinical cases).
  • Brief Communications and Letters to the Editor on emerging issues.

All manuscripts must represent original work not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

  • Original Research Articles – up to 5,000 words (excluding references), ≤ 8tables/figures.
  • Review Articles – up to 8,000 words, ≤ 10 tables/figures.
  • Case Reports – up to 3,000 words, ≤ 4 tables/figures.
  • Letters/Brief Reports – up to 1,000 words, 1 table/figure.
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx).
  • Language: English (UK spelling preferred).
  • Structure:
    • Title Page: Title, authors’ full names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, corresponding author details (name, email, postal address).
    • Abstract: ≤ 250 words. Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) for research articles; unstructured for case reports/reviews. Include 3–6 keywords (MeSH terms where possible).
    • Main Text:
      • Research Articles: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
      • Reviews: Introduction, Methods (if systematic), Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
      • Case Reports: Introduction, Case Presentation, Discussion, Conclusion.
    • References: Vancouver style (numbered, in-text citations in square brackets). DOI must be provided where available.
    • Tables & Figures: Numbered consecutively, each with a descriptive caption.
  • Authors must state ethics approval for studies involving humans or animals, with committee name and approval number.
  • Clinical trials should include a trial registration number (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov).
  • Patient consent is required for case reports.
  • The journal adheres to COPE, ICMJE, Helsinki Declaration, ARRIVE, CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA reporting standards as appropriate.
  • Authorship must meet ICMJE criteria.
  • A statement of each author’s contribution is required.
  • All conflicts of interest and funding sources must be disclosed in the manuscript.

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with significant plagiarism (>15% overlap) will be rejected.

The journal is open access. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.
Authors retain copyright.
